Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn is an American actor from the United States. She was best known as Skyler in AMC's Breaking Bad drama, and she was the recipient of the Primetime Emmy Award Outstanding Supporting Female Actress for Drama Series 2013 & 2014. She also appeared in Jean Ward in The Practice, and Martha Bullock in Deadwood. The actress was born in Sante Fe, New Mexico in 1968 Anna Gunn fell in love with acting during Preparatory School before her family relocated to Ohio during the latter part of 1970. Theatre studies was through Northwestern University. A semester was spent in the British American Drama Academy. Anna was employed in the Chicago theatre for many years prior to attempting TV and movie roles. In 1992, Anna was offered her first big part in the role of Arden in the series of 29 episodes Down the Shore. The actress continued to make appearances as guest stars on a number of television series and movies, including Seinfeld and NYPD Blue up to the end of 90's when she appeared in a role that she reprised in the role of Jean Ward in The Practice. The role was played by Martha Bullock in Deadwood for two seasons throughout the decade of 2000. Skyler played her part on Breaking Bad. Sully as well as Deadwood was another film she was a part of. Gunn played a role in the David Schwimmer directed the film Sex With Strangers. The actress, in 2022, also appeared in a series of audio-play podcast titled"Numbered Days.. The drama of Breaking Bad is dependent on the relationships between Walter White, his wife Skyler and their uneasy relationship. The deterioration of this relationship is in line with Walter White's dying years.
